I'm now around almost at the halfway marker for the project - obviously there's a long ways to go, but i'm hoping i will have a demo ready for everyone to try tomorrow at the latest, even if you'll just have jumping it'll still be there for you to try! (i need to know if the jumping seems too weird or too much for example.)
I have to admit that i'm fairly behind schedule on the visuals - this will be remedied in the upcoming week where i'll be showing off the main character final designs, 1 head screen concept (most likely of the main waterfall in the prototype level) and ALOT of prop concepts.
Lastly i need to establish the final look of the ruins the player travels through on his/her way to Isolde. Right now its a mix of mayan and egyptian - but without having specific inspirations (think Deckards apartment from Bladerunner - which was a frank lloyd wright house....and mayan inspired).
Oh and i'm changing posts to correspond to the days in the project, this'll emphasize the "dev diary" feel i think, and i can lift most stuff right into my final journal.
Stay tuned for an update later today
