In the last days or so i've been trying to think up of ideas on how to best present the project whenever its my turn. The result was an idea that could spawn into something pretty cool i think.
Since i need to present a vertical slice i pretty much need to implement all the stuff i'm talking about in my project report (or atleast alot of it).
The demo level i've been modelling is now going to tie in together with this part - if you've got sharp eyes you've probably already noticed that i'm using the headscreen concept art as a texture (it'll have to be painted on further to get the 3D looking its best).
So this scene will act as the main menu background, and when the player taps the screen, the demo will start here and you can move into the next area which'll be the prototype map...i think this is gonna tie everything together quite nicely.
I'm not taking too much into accound the Tris amount, since i don't know if i'll even get the unity demo run on an ipad (since i dont own one its difficult to test if the interaction, like gestures, work or not).
This is how i'd imagined the two would work in unison, after tapping the game fades our the game logo/title and starts out with the character being able to move inside the cavern area with the different gameplay prototypes.
I've still got one or 2 more days of work on Tristan and this, but when its done i can pretty much relax a whole lot more (still got a few sketches to finish along with this though and a storyboard).
