Day 36: I took some time off too you know

Finally got the prototype level model into unity, it's not complete at all, and it'll probably be all grey because of time constraints (plus theres some other stuff i'd rather focus more of my time on in the next week or so. *cough*finishing the story*cough*...

And i want to finish Tristan (not fully, but you know, close or modelled atleast to a final state)
More things i wanna get finished or need finishing....i swear, i made a list that made me fucking cry...almost!

• Documentation
• Story pitch, backstory finalization
• Character motivations and backgrounds (for major characters....what do they want to achieve through the game)
• Narrative...meh!
• Concept Art
• Finalize prototype Head screen (about 50% done, but im'a gonna have to cut working alot more on it)
• Finalize tutorial level Head screen (that one's about 75% done i'd say)
• More prop concept art (i'm working on the bridge and pillars, but i could add one or two more examples of props (like statues...which is what i'm thinking right now)
• An example of the mural/decoration style on the pillars...i'm really looking at alot of shadow of the colossus at the moment, the art is beautiful!
• Need to come up with a cursor shape/design
• Need a design for the checkpoint props - here i'm also thinking of the upgrade statues from metroid, neat design too.
• Tristans Spaceship (almost wrote spaceshit).
• More concepts of Isolde
• Martkos concept?
• And finally a quick and rough storyboard.
• 3D

• Rough diorama of tristan
• Example of assets with final texture, i.e rock background like the quick sketch here shows.

Unity wise i'm close to being done though, tomorrow i'll see to it that the prototype level as is now is shipped out to everyone following this trainwreck that's headed straight to hell! :P

Oh yea and i need to do a navigation concept, but thats all in the works - mainly this should show how tristan moves (jumping, idle and running/turning) and how the game looks like when you're doing magic with Isolde :).

All in all, it'll be a packed 10 days (hope i make it) - though i have untill the 7-8th of november, i'm still kinda creeping out about the whole thing :D.
